Tue, June 29, 2004 - 5:08 PMman, nowadays you can't not see bubble tea around. there's a couple really cool places in chinatown by uwajimaya. man, i love coconut or honeydew. taro is great too. -

Fri, July 23, 2004 - 5:41 PMhere in san francisco there are all sorts of places to get bubble tea. some of my favorite ones use real fruit instead of just the powder...there's a vietnamese deli called little paris that uses fresh taro, honeydew, etc. in their bubble tea. there's a little paris in chinatown (stockton & clay) and one in the inner richmond district (clement & 6th ave).
you do get some cool flavors with the powder- or syrup-based teas, though...i'm partial to the almond/green tea combo...i've had really good mocha and chocolate mint flavor boba, too.
bubble tea rules!! =) -
